Ruinednation

Quick update. The first post of mixtape.ruinednation is up for your listening pleasure. This week the mix is focused on cover songs. I will attempt to post a new mix every week.

I just added a page for which all media related to Ruined, Threshing Floor, and Rip-Off Dub Syndicate can be found. There you will find two sections of originals and covers. Original material is licensed with Creative Commons and I encourage their use in podcasts, remixes, free/non-profit radio streams. Covers are not available for download (and I highly doubt they ever will be) but after I get permissions worked out I’m hopeful that there will be on sale on iTunes, Amazon, etc later this year.

I’ve added two new pages to the site.

First is Projects, this is where I’ll share current projects I’m working in the budding online collaboration communities. Right now I’m focusing on Kompoz.com but eventually I’d like to look into Ninjam and others.

Second is RuinedStudio, which is home to my uStream of my studio. It’s live only when I’m in the studio doing work, but I’m trying to work on an automatic notication for when I’ll be in the studio. I probably won’t talk very much but I’ll keep an occasional eye on the chatbox and discuss anything worthwhile.

I’m working on a couple of new reviews that should be posted in the next couple of weeks: JG Thirwell – Venture Bros., Foetus – Limb/Foetus NYC Documentary, and VNV Nation – Of Faith, Power, and Glory.
